Tania Astorino is a member of the Personal Injury Team. Tania obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver before attending law school at Queen’s University. Tania was called to the Bar in Ontario in 2004 and British Columbia in 2005. She articled with a personal injury firm in Toronto, where she continued her practice as an associate, until moving to Ottawa and joining Beament Green in February of 2009. Her specific area of interest is in Statutory Accident Benefits, assisting clients with their claims from inception to settlement and trial. She is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and the County of Carleton Law Association. Her volunteer work with the Advocacy Committee at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario is her passion. The program focuses on creating and implementing community-driven policies to prevent illness and injury.

Sean Bawden actively practices in all practice areas, although he has a keen interest in employment and environmental law. Sean joined the firm following his call to the bar in 2008, and the completion of his articles at Beament Green. He obtained his B.A. from York University’s Glendon College in Toronto with Honours. In 2007 he graduated cum laude from the University of Ottawa’s law school. He is cited in half a dozen legal textbooks, including the 8th edition of Allen Linden's Canadian Tort Law and the 3rd edition of Jamie Benidickson's Environmental Law..

Cheryl Gerhardt McLuckie,B.J., LL.B.

After successfully completing her articles with Beament Green, Cheryl Gerhardt McLuckie joined the firm following her call to the bar in 2001. Cheryl is a key member of the environmental and commercial litigation team at Beament Green and works with Michael Hebert on complex commercial matters.

Her extensive experience in environmental law and commercial litigation also includes knowledge of construction and tendering law, leasing and professional negligence. Her research skills and ability to organize and manage large, complex files is a valuable resource to the firm and its clients. She has appeared before various levels of Court, including the Ontario Court of Appeal, and also before numerous tribunals, including the Landlord and Tenant Board. Cheryl is a member of the Ontario Bar Association and the County of Carleton Law Association.

Michael Hebert is one of the leading Environmental Law lawyers in Canada. His visionary work as the Plaintiff’s counsel in Tridan v. Shell, 2002 Carswell Ont 1, 154 O.A.C. 1, 57 O.R.
